If you are in a dispute that involves children, property, finances, business or the workplace, Pactum Dispute Resolution can help you reach an outcome with the other people involved through mediation. The type of mediation depends on your dispute.
Disputes involving children- not in Court
Family Dispute Resolution
If you have a dispute about parenting (for example, where a child lives, spending time with a child, how a child moves between two homes, decisions about their schooling, well-being or health), the Family Law Act requires you to first make a genuine effort to try Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) before going to Court, unless you can prove you have a valid legal reason not to.
Pactum Dispute Resolution has FDR practitioners who are accredited by the Commonwealth Attorney General’s Department to offer this specialised service.
Other types of disputes
Post-separation property and financial matters
Parenting at any stage of legal proceedings
Workplace disputes and investigations
Ongoing assistance with maintaining parenting arrangements
Parenting Coordination
If you and the other parent need ongoing assistance with parental communication and joint decision making to ensure you’re both sticking to a Parenting Plan or Court Orders, then we offer the specialised service of Parenting Coordination. The Pactum Parenting Coordinator can save you going back to Court again and again about parenting.
Workplace Investigations
For organisations handling sensitive workplace complaints, we conduct swift, thorough workplace investigations; provide you with detailed reports containing evidence-based findings in line with legislative standards; and make recommendations to assist you to determine the way forward.
